Castle Administration

The administrative staff at Castle High School is fully dedicated to maintaining an environment that is conducive to academic success for every student.

 

Mr. Jim Hood

Mr. Jim Hood

Principal


Mr. Hood began his teaching career in Warrick County at Boonville Junior High School where he taught Health and Science and coached both basketball and track. He served four years as Athletic Director at Boonville Junior High and then held the position of Assistant Principal for two years.

When Castle South opened in 2009, Mr. Hood was hired as the Assistant Principal and he held this position for three years until he was named Principal in 2012. Mr. Hood was named Principal of Castle High School in 2019.

Mr. Hood received his undergraduate degree from Trevecca Nazarene College in Nashville, Tennessee. His Master’s Degree in Education was completed through Indiana Wesleyan and he went on to receive his principal certification from Oakland City University.

Mr. Hood and his wife Kristin are the proud parents of four children Josh, Hannah, Carter, and Cooper.

Mr. FrazierMr. Ryan Frazier

Assistant Principal


Ryan Frazier began his teaching career at Central High School. While at Central, he taught United States History, Government, and Indiana Studies. He also had the opportunity to co-teach United States History and Government. After teaching at Central, Ryan served as an Assistant Principal at Harrison High School.

Ryan earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education - Social Studies from the University of Evansville. He earned his Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from Ball State University.

Ryan and his wife Abbey have three children. Abbey is a teacher at Newburgh Elementary School.

Mr. Terry Roudenbush

Mr. Terry Roudenbush

Assistant Principal


Terry Roudenbush began his educational career at Castle South Middle School in 2011 where he taught Health and Physical Education for eight years. During his time at Castle South he also coached basketball and track. He was hired as the Assistant Principal at Castle South in 2019 and named Assistant Principal at Castle High School in 2020.

Terry earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Health and Physical Education from Indiana State University in 2009. He received his Master’s Degree in Building Level Administration from Oakland City University in 2018.

Terry and his wife Brittany have three children Nolan, Tucker, and Josie.

Mrs. BrowderMrs. Courtney Browder

Assistant Principal

Courtney Browder began her teaching career in Gadsden, Alabama after attending Jacksonville State University where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education with a social studies focus. 

After moving back to Warrick County, Courtney worked at North High School as the Department Chair for Social Studies and World Languages. During this time she earned a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from Oakland City University. In 2021 Courtney began a new job at Tecumseh Middle/High School before taking the assistant principal position at Castle High School in 2023. Courtney Browder is a proud alumnus of Castle High School.

Courtney is married to Dr. Shane Browder, who is the principal at Tecumseh High School in Warrick County.
