Castle is very proud of its social studies department and the opportunities it provides. Students enrolled in social studies classes learn a variety of real world experiences that will prepare them for life after high school. Click the links below for more information.

Social Studies Opportunities

The Social Studies department offers students many opportunities to learn about the subject outside of the classroom. One of these is the Academic Team. The club is open to all students, but only 5 get to make the Social Studies Squad and compete against students across the state of Indiana. In addition, students on the Academic Team get to compete in the annual Teachers vs. Students Academic Competition Assembly.
